We would like to say a huge thank you to public servants by hosting a special service in the Cathedral on Sunday 4th September at 4pm.
This is a service for anyone in the Diocese of Dromore who served us during the pandemic;
– those who were required to continue working during lockdown, often in perilous situations, in order that food was on our tables, and we were cared for;
– those who quite literally served the public – shop workers, delivery drivers, emergency responders, health care workers; anyone who served the public faithfully during the darkest days of the pandemic.
Those attending are encouraged to wear their uniform, if their role involves the wearing of one.
Everyone is encouraged to come along to this unique service as together we say thank you for all that these public servants have done for each one of us.
