To mark the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Cathedral will be holding special events on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June.
Please join us from 3:00pm on Saturday 4th for a special celebration service of worship in the Cathedral. This service will have a family focus and will be followed by a garden party and fun day in the Rectory garden. Everyone is very welcome to come along.
The fun day will feature bouncy castles, games, giant Jenga and face painting. Please bring your own picnic, hot and cold drinks and ice-cream will be provided.
Our morning worship at 10:00am and 11:30am on Sunday 5th June will have a Platinum Jubilee theme and will be followed by a special commemorative tree planting in the Rectory front garden.
Everyone is warmly invited to attend on either or both days, there is no booking required and you do not need to be a member of the cathedral. We would love to see many members of our wider community join us for what promises to be a special weekend.
